Popular Revelation Series Microscopes

Two popular models include the Revelation III-A Plan and Revelation III Achromat. These include microscopes with monocular, trinocular, dual binocular and 45° sliding heads. They are categorized according to their objectives, which include DIN Achromatic, DIN Semi-Plan or DIN Plan. The objectives can be par focal, par centric or color-coded and upgraded to Plan at the time of purchase. Dimensions and weight vary from model to model.

High Quality Features

All models of Revelation series microscopes come with anti-fungal coating to ensure lasting performance. Their nosepieces are quadrupled forward-facing and multiple ball-bearing mounted. The notable features of the Revelation microscopes are:

Head – 30° inclined and 360° rotatable head with dual diopter adjustment, and interpupillary distance range 55-75mm.


Stage – Mechanical stage of 140mm x 140mm with stage locking lever, coaxial drive controls and slow-close hydraulic slide finger. The range of traverse is Ran 73mm x 43mm.

Focus – Facility for coarse adjustments at a range of 30mm and fine adjustment at a graduation of 2μm. A tension control knob is attached.

Illumination – Variable halogen light source (12V/20W bulb) and movable Abbe condenser. NA 1.25, rack and pinion and 110V/220V switchable electronics and 12V DC battery input are available. An iris diaphragm is also included.

All these models come with the necessary accessories and parts which include three 0.5 amp fuses, mirror attachment (for field use), blue and green filters, dust cover, immersion oil, spare bulb, and manual and warranty card. The warranty extends for lifetime on materials and workmanship, and one year on electronic components.
